| | Project: Assessment of Possible Salt Marsh Creation Sites Client: Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District 2 Location: St. Johns, Duval and Nassau Counties, Florida Through remote GIS layer analysis, ERS identified 30 largely upland candidate sites for conversion to salt marsh for mitigative purposes. Selection factors included acreage, absence of or low percentage of freshwater wetlands, length of existing salt marsh frontage, no or low density structures. Further analysis, including ground truthing, evaluated and compared the relative values of eight candidate sites. The assessment was furnished to FDOT in both a report and oral presentation. |

| | Project: State Road 40 Client: Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District 5 Location: Marion County, Florida The State Road 40 project entails the completion of a Draft Environmental Impact Statement of this ten-mile roadway widening project. The project, which extends through the Ocala National Forest, is very sensitive with regard to environmental/natural resource issues. ERS was responsible for completing a Wetland Assessment Report and Biological Assessment. ERS conducted the field work necessary to map all vegetative communities along the project corridor. |

| | Project: County Road 210/West of Interstate 95 Client: Arvida, a St. Joe Company Location: St. Johns County, Florida ERS was responsible for the wetland delineation and permitting services associated with the improvement of County Road 210 along the segment located immediately west of Interstate 95. Although it is a county roadway, the design and permitting of the project was undertaken by Arvida/St. Joe pursuant to an agreement with St. Johns County. Permitting for this project was required pursuant to the rules and regulations of both the St. Johns River Water Management District and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Additionally, the Wetland Rapid Assessment Procedure (WRAP) was conducted to satisfy federal agency requirements. |

| | Project: Jacksonville International Airport (JIA) South Access Road Client: Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District 2 Location: Duval County, Florida The JIA South Access Road project entailed the design and permitting of a new roadway segment needed to provide alternative access to the Jacksonville International Airport. Coordination was undertaken to determine the extent of jurisdictional wetlands that had previously been delineated, coupled with additional delineation work needed to identify all wetlands within the designated corridor. ERS was responsible for providing the necessary graphics and text for permit application submittals to both the St. Johns River Water Management District and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. |

| | Project: Race Track Road Client: St. Johns County Location: St. Johns County, Florida ERS was contracted by the project engineer, England, Thims & Miller, Inc. to provide environmental consulting services for the design and permitting of Race Track Road from Bishop Estates Road to Russell Sampson Road in northern St. Johns County, Florida. The Race Track Road project is a roadway improvement project which entails jurisdictional wetland delineation and permitting, including impact analysis and negotiation of appropriate mitigation. |

| | Project: Red Bay Branch/Lonestar Road Improvements Client: City of Jacksonville Location: Jacksonville, Florida ERS staff has assisted the project engineer in the design and permitting of a drainage system aimed at correcting siltation and flooding problems associated with Red Bay Branch. The selected design resulted from undertaking an innovative approach to construct sedimentation controls while effecting wetland mitigation through stream restoration. |

| | Project: State Road 5 Client: Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District 5 Location: Brevard County, Florida As a member of the selected consultant team, ERS was tasked with conducting wetland and wildlife assessments associated with the State Road 5 Project Development and Environmental (PD&E) Study. The environmental sections associated with this study include preparation and submittal of a WET II Report and a Biological Assessment. |

| | Project: State Road 9B Extension Client: Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District 2 Location: St. Johns County, Florida ERS served as a sub consultant to HNTB, Inc. to complete wetland and wildlife reports for the SR 9B Project Design and Environment (PD & E) Study being undertaken by FDOT. This high-profile project will connect to the SR 9B/I-95 Interchange and involve crossings of very sensitive wetland systems associated with Durbin Creek in northern St. Johns County. Intergovernmental partnering with St. Johns County and close coordination with resource and regulatory agencies, and special interest groups will be undertaken. ERS is responsible for evaluating all natural communities, identifying jurisdictional wetlands, completing a functional analysis of wetland systems, and preparing Wetland and Biological Assessment reports. |

| | Project: State Road 13 Client: Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District 2 Location: St. Johns County, Florida The State Road 13 improvement project involved the widening of the existing roadway within the Fruit Cove area of St. Johns County. ERS delineated all of the jurisdictional wetlands associated with the project limits and provided necessary permitting services. Additionally, existing gopher tortoise habitat associated with the project site was field surveyed and permitting with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission was undertaken for the incidental take of this species. |

| | Project: State Road 20 Client: Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District 2 Location: Putnam and Alachua Counties, Florida As a sub-contractor to Earth Tech (under FDOT's District 2 GEC contract), ERS participated in the completion of a draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for State Road 20.
