Residential Experience

       

Project: Crescent Lake
Client: The Archer Group
Location: Flagler County, Florida

ERS conducted environmental services for this major 8,370-acre development venture. The client proposes a project comprising a mixed-use residential community. Our services included wetland delineation, agency verification, and an extensive preliminary evaluation and regulatory analysis of Flagler County's environmental ordinances.

Project: Grand Reserve East & West
Client: LandMar
Location: Flagler County, Florida

ERS is assisting LandMar with the development of a large-scale residential community and associated stormwater infrastructure in Palm Coast, Florida. The project comprises two parcels, the 214.4-acre east parcel and the 122.5-acre west parcel. Our services included: wetland delineation; agency verification; gopher tortoise survey and incidental take permitting; seasonal high water table assessment; and, permitting with St. Johns River Water Management District and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Project: Grand Woods Residential Development/Golf Course
Client: LandMar
Location: Flagler County, Florida

Grand Woods is a 911.6-acre± site proposed as a residential community and golf course with associated infrastructure and stormwater management facilities. ERS is assisting LandMar with the environmental assessment and permitting component. Our services included wetland delineation, agency verification of wetland lines, and permitting with St. Johns River Water Management District and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Project: Marsh Landing
Client: Fletcher Management Companies
Location: St. Johns County, Florida

Responsibilities include wetland delineation, permitting, mitigation planning and implementation, and environmental consultation for the 1,000-unit Marsh Landing residential and golf course development. Services are ongoing and include coordination with the regulatory agencies regarding all permit compliance issues.

Project: Fleming Island Plantation
Client: Centex Homes
Location: Clay County, Florida

Involvement in this project is multi-faceted. ERS reviewed and revised the surface water quality monitoring plan and we have implemented the revised monitoring protocol. A bald eagle survey was conducted in 1997 with annual surveys to occur for at least ten additional years. Jurisdictional wetlands were delineated on approximately 1,000 acres of the 2,000-acre tract.

Project: Palencia
Client: Hines
Location: St. Johns County, Florida

Palencia is a 1,550-acre Development of Regional Impact (DRI) comprising a residential community with an 18-hole golf course, Village Center, recreation complex, school site and commercial parcels. ERS has been involved in the environmental permitting effort with the St. Johns River Water Management District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and St. Johns County for the overall development as well as for individual parcels. ERS has also coordinated with the regulatory agencies with regard to protected species and has conducted several educational seminars to inform the construction crew and residents regarding environmental matters and permit conditions.

Project: St. Johns Golf and Country Club
Client: Arvida, a St. Joe Company
Location: St. Johns County, Florida

The St. Johns Golf and Country Club is an Arvida/St. Joe community located in St. Johns County. The development includes 799 residential lots with an 18-hole golf course and club house/amenity center. ERS conducted the preliminary wetland mapping and delineation tasks, received agency permits involving nearly 50 acres of wetland impact, and conducted the design and implementation of wetland creation. An Incidental Take Permit was also processed for the presence of gopher tortoises on the project site that uniquely involved the acquisition of a parcel of land that is located adjacent to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission's Santa Fe preservation site.

Project: Tamaya
Client: Beazer Homes and I.C.I. Homes
Location: Duval County, Florida

The clients, Beazer Homes and I.C.I. Homes, propose to develop a 788-acre± site for purposes of constructing a high-quality residential community and town center commercial component, with associated infrastructure and stormwater management facilities. Our services included wetland delineation, agency verification, and permitting with St. Johns River Water Management District and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.   ERS also designed a wetland enhancement mitigation plan for a 190-acre portion of the wetlands to remain on the site.
